Receta Buttermilk Cayenne Onion Rings

Ingredientes
- 2 lrg sweet onions (Vidalias are fine)
- 1 x Egg yolk
- 1 c. Flour
- 1 Tbsp. Cayenne pwdr
- 1/4 tsp Baking soda
- 1 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2 c. Buttermilk Vegetable oil for deep-frying
Direcciones
- Slice onions into thin rings. Combine egg yolk, flour, cayenne, baking soda, salt and buttermilk. Mix well. Dip rings into batter and coat thoroughly. Heat oil to 375 degrees; when warm, add in rings and fry for 4 to 5 min, till lightly browned. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
