Receta Chicken And Broccoli Cream Soup

Ingredientes
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 lb boneless skinless chicken cut 1/2" pcs
- 1 lrg onion chopped
- 1 can chicken broth - (14 1/2 ounce)
- 1 1/2 c. minced broccoli
- 4 Tbsp. oat bran
- 1/4 tsp freshly-grnd white pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 c. heavy cream
- 3/4 c. shredded swiss cheese
Direcciones
- Heat butter in a large soup pot. Add in chicken pcs and onion and saute/fry till the onion is translucent/soft. Add in chicken broth, broccoli, oat bran, pepper and salt and simmer over very low heat for 20 min.
- Add in heavy cream and stir. Heat for another minute or possibly two. Don't boil. Place about 2 Tbsp. swiss cheese in each individual serving bowl. Spoon soup into each serving bowl and serve.
- This recipe yields 5 servings.
