Receta Chicken Chowed With Black Beans

Ingredientes
- 3 lb Chicken, hacked into
- 2 Tbsp. Light soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Cornstarch
- 1 x Egg white
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 Tbsp. Peanut oil
- 4 Tbsp. Peanut oil
- 3 x Cloves garlic, minced fine
- 1 x Yellow onion, peeled and into 1" pcs
- 3 Tbsp. Fermented black beans (dow, see) rinsed in plain mashed with
- 2 Tbsp. Dry sherry
- 2 x Green sweet bell peppers, cored and cut julien
- 1 Tbsp. Light soy sauce
- 2 Tbsp. Dry sherry
- 1 c. Chicken stock
- 1 tsp Brown sugar
Direcciones
- Cut the chicken and soak in the marinade for 15 min. Heat a wok and add in 2 Tablespoons of the oil. Drain the marinade from the chicken and reserve.
- Brown the chicken pcs well in the wok, then remove and set aside. Drain
- the oil from the wok and throw away. Heat the wok again and add in the remaining 2 Tablespoons oil. Chow the garlic for a moment and add in the onions and the dow see mashed with the sherry. Chow for a moment and add in the green peppers.
- Return the chicken to the wok along with the reserved marinade. Add in the ingredients for the final sauce. Stir well and cover. Simmer the dish till the chicken is tender but not overcooked, about 20 min.
