  • 1 can Chicken Supreme
  • 1 c. water
  • 3 T oil
  • 2 1/2 T butter
  • 6 T flour
  • 1 c. lowfat milk
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1 1/2 c. unflavored dry bread crumbs
  • 1 can Campbell's cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 soup can lowfat milk
  • 1 (10 ounce) pkg. frzn, cooked peas

Direcciones

  1. Put together the first 3 ingredients and set aside. Heat butter. Add in flour; mix well. Add in the lowfat milk slowly and mix till smooth. Cook till very thick. Add in the Chicken Supreme to the thick white sauce. Refrigerate 20-30 min longer.Place beaten large eggs and bread crumbs in separate shallow dishes. Using 1/4 cup measurements, form each croquette into oblong shape 2-3 inches long. Roll each croquette first in crumbs, then egg and crumbs again. Gently lower croquette in deep oil. Lower heat and fry till golden (1-1 1/2 min). Drain on absorbent paper.
  2. To serve: Place croquettes in casserole dish and pour Easy Supreme Sauce (recipe below) over the croquettes. Cover and bake for 30 min at 350 degrees. Serves 8.
  3. Put together soup and lowfat milk. Heat well and add in peas. To serve: Place croquettes in casserole dish and pour sauce over the croquettes.
