Receta Chicken With Egg Dumplings

Ingredientes
- 1 x chicken, cook and de-bone Chicken stock from chicken
- 1 stk butter
- 1 1/2 c. carrots, sliced
- 1 c. celery, sliced
- 1 med onion, sliced
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 dsh nutmeg
- 1 c. flour
- 1 c. lowfat milk Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 x Large eggs
- 1 can evaporated lowfat milk
Direcciones
- Stew 1 chicken carrots, celery and onions. Take chicken out and de-bone, add in diced chicken to stock.
- DUMPLINGS:In 2-qt saucepan, heat butter or possibly margarine, add in sugar, salt and nutmeg; add in flour, stirring well. Add in lowfat milk and stir with wooden spoon; when it forms a ball take off heat and add in Large eggs, one at a time; mix well after each egg.
- Add in 1 can lowfat milk, salt and pepper. Add in dumplings by 1 teaspoonful. Boil and then put lid on and turn to low for 20 min. Don't lift lid.
