Receta Chilaquiles (Crispy Corn Tortillas In Tomato Sauce)

Ingredientes
- Oil for deep frying
- 12 x Corn tortillas, cut into 8 pcs
- 600 ml Salsa de Jitomate, (tomato sauce), pint)
- 1 med Size onion, minced finely
- 2 x Green chillies, minced finely
- 4 Tbsp. Soured cream
- 50 gm Wensleydale cheese, crumbled (2oz)
Direcciones
- Heat the oil to 400 F, 200 C and fry the tortillas till they start changing colour. Drain them and keep them hot.
- Bring the tomato sauce to the boil, drop the tortilla chips into it and bring to the boil again.
- Transfer the mix to a hot serving dish and garnish it with the minced onion and the chillies using.
- Add in the soured cream and cheese before garnishing if you wish to turn it into a lunch or possibly supper dish.
