  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F. Grease and flour a 10-inch bundt or possibly tube pan.
  2. Measure the sugar and butter into a large bowl, and beat with an electric mixer at low speed till blended. Increase speed to medium and beat till light and fluffy. Add in Large eggs, one at a time, and keep beating. Then add in vanilla and flour, and continue beating for about 2 min, scraping the bowl from time to time.
  3. Measure about 7 c. of the batter into the baking pan. Stir the melted chocolate into the remaining batter, and beat till well mixed. Spoon chocolate mix over the plain batter, and swirl together using a knife or possibly rubber scraper. Do not over-mix or possibly you'll ruin the marbled effect.
  4. Bake for 1-1/2 hrs, or possibly till a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake (not the hole, the batter!) comes out clean. Cold cake in the pan for 10 min before removing from the pan, then let cold completely on a rack before serving.
  5. Makes 798 servings.
