Receta Chocolate Topped Peanut Butter Bars
Ingredientes
- Base layer:
- l/2 c unsalted butter
- l/4 c sugar
- 5 Tbsp.cocoa
- 1 egg, beaten
- l-l/4 c graham cracker crumbs
- 3/4 c coarsely crushed pretzels
- Middle layer:
- l/2 c unsalted butter,melted and cooled slightly
- l-l/3 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c smooth peanut butter
- 1 tsp.vanilla
- Top layer:
- 5 oz. bittersweet chocolate
- 1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
Direcciones
- Base Layer: In glass bowl over simmering water, melt butter with sugar and cocoa. While still over water, add egg and beat to combine (will thicken). Remove from heat; add crumbs and pretzels. Press into 8X8 pan. Set aside.
- Combine butter and peanut butter in small bowl. Mix in sugar and vanilla. Dump over bottom layer and smooth over to make a flat, even layer.
- In glass bowl over simmering water, melt butter and chocolate together. Stir until smooth. Pour over peanut butter layer and spread out evenly.
- Chill in fridge until chocolate is set. Cut into squares
