Receta Chocolate Turtle Cake

Ingredientes
- 1 pkt Devils' Food cake mix
- 1/2 c. Veg. oil
- 1/2 c. Butter, melted
- 1 1/2 c. Water
- 1 lb Caramels
- 14 ounce Sweetened condensed lowfat milk
- 1 c. Pecans, minced
- 1/2 c. Butter
- 1/2 c. Evaporated lowfat milk
- 1/3 c. Cocoa
- 16 ounce Powdered sugar
- 1 tsp Vanilla
Direcciones
- Combine cake mix, oil, melted butter, water and half of the condensed lowfat milk till well blended. Pour half of the mix into a greased 9x13" pan. Bake at 350 for 30 min. Unwrap caramels. In double boiler, heat caramels with remaining half of condensed lowfat milk. (takes about 15-20 min). Pour over hot cake layer. Sprinkle with minced pecans. Pour remaining batter on top. Bake 30 min or possibly till top springs back.
- FROSTING: Bring butter, evaporated lowfat milk and cocoa to a boil. Add in confectioners' sugar and vanilla. Beat till smooth. Spread on cake.
- OPTIONAL: Decorate cake with whole pecans.
