Receta Corn Casserole

Ingredientes
- 1 med Vidalia or possibly sweet onion, peeled, minced
- 2 Tbsp. Butter, melted
- 1 can cream style white corn
- 1 can whole corn kernels, liquid removed
- 2 Tbsp. minced liquid removed pimento (optional)
- 1 x or possibly 2 Tbsp. granulated sugar
- 1/2 x to 1 tsp. table salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 3 x or possibly 4 Large eggs, beaten
- 1 x 8 ounce. lowfat sour cream
- 1 stk butter minus 2 Tbsp. used, melted
- 1 box Jiffy corn muffin mix
- 1 c. grated Sharp Cheddar Cheese (optional)
- 1/8 tsp paprika (optional)
Direcciones
- Preheat Oven to 350: F.Lightly butter or possibly spray a 2 Qt Baking Dish Heat 2 Tbsp. butter in saucepan over low heat. Increase heat to medium and immediately add in minced onion. Saute/fry' onion till somewhat translucent/soft.
- Set aside.
- Mix rest of ingredients, except paprika and cheese (optional), and combine with the Jiffy Mix. Pour into a lightly buttered or possibly sprayed baking dish. Bake at 350: for about 45 min or possibly till set and lightly browning. Spread grated cheese on top and sprinkle with paprika (optional). Bake another 5 min, or possibly till cheese is melted.
