Receta Creamy Wild Rice Soup

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 5 tbsp. flour
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 2 c. Half and Half cream
- 1/2 c. slivered almonds
- 2 c. cooked wild rice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Direcciones
- Saute/fry onion in butter till soft. Add in flour and bring to a boil again, stir till smooth. Add in chicken broth and bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 10-15 min. Heat Half and half (don't boil). Add in to soup mix and stir. Add in almonds and cooked wild rice, salt and pepper. Simmer 20 min. Serve very hot. (Will be thick). Turkey broth with small pcs of turkey in place of chicken broth is good. Serves 4-5.
