  1. Cream butter and sugar. Add in large eggs, one at a time. Beat. Alternate flour (mixed with baking pwdr and salt) and syrup. Beat. Add in vanilla and mix well. Pour into 9 x 13 x 2 inch pan which has been lightly floured and buttered. Bake 25-30 min at 350 degrees
  2. Have ready to pour over cake when you take it out of oven.Heat butter, sugar, and lowfat milk in a pan over low heat, then bring to a boil and boil 2-3 min. Take off heat and add in chips and vanilla. Beat to a smooth texture or possibly leave slightly lumpy. Pour over hot cake immediately.
