Ingredientes
- 2 tbsp. shortening
- 3 tbsp. sugar
- 1 egg
- 3/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 c. bran
- 1 c. flour
- 2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Direcciones
- Cream sugar and shortening; add in egg and beat well. Stir in lowfat milk, then bran. Add in flour sifted with baking pwdr and salt; stir till dry ingredients are just moistened.
- Fill greased muffin pans 2/3 full (or possibly use paper baking c.) and bake in warm oven 425 degrees 20 to 25 min or possibly till golden. Any type of bran may be successfully used in this recipe. Makes 8 to 12 muffins.
