Receta Donna's Fat Free Bran Muffins

Ingredientes
- 2 1/2 c. Bran Buds cereal (Kellogg's)
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 1/2 c. fruit puree (e.g. Just like Shortenin' or possibly Sunsweet Lighter Bake)
- 1/4 c. molasses
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 x Large eggs
- 2 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp allspice
- 2 1/2 c. flour
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees or possibly 350 degrees if using non-stick pans. Grease muffin tins.
- In a food processor, add in cereal and process till crushed to fine crumbs. Add in warm water. Process till briefly. Add in all other ingredients and mix just till batter is blended. At this point, the batter can be refrigerated.
- When ready to bake, fill greased muffin tins 3/4 full. Bake for 15 to 20 min or possibly till lightly brown. Don't over bake.
- Note:The batter can be stored in a covered bowl in the refrigerator for up to six weeks.
- Note:Add in nuts or possibly raisins to the batter before baking if you like.
