  • 1 can canned carrots
  • 1/2 c. white granulated sugar
  • 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) butter

  1. After draining all water from carrots, place them in a microwave-safe bowl. Then, add in the sugar and butter (cut into small chunks). Cover loosely, and microwave on high power for 3 min. Stir when cooking is complete. If butter and sugar aren't melted/dissolved, continue to microwave them for 30 second intervals till it is. Stir after each microwave interval.
  2. Also, while these are great first done, if you have 10 min to let them stand, they're a little better!
  3. Although this is definitely not the most sophisticated of carrot literally have them done in less than 5 min.
