  • 8 tomato slices
  • 2 whole wheat pita bread rounds, cut in half
  • 1/4 pound Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 pound meat slices, cut into strips (can use ham, roast beef, chicken or possibly turkey)
  • 1/2 c. broccoli flowerets
  • 1/4 c. bean sprouts
  • 1/4 c. shredded carrots
  • 1 tbsp. green onion slices
  • 1/2 c. plain yogurt
  • 2 teaspoon spicy brown mustard

Direcciones

  1. Place tomato slices in pita bread. Toss together cheese, meat, broccoli, bean sprouts, carrots and green onion. Fill each pita bread with 1/2 c. vegetable mix. Microwave on High 3 to 5 min or possibly till cheese begins to heat. Serve with combined yogurt and mustard. Makes 4 sandwiches. Prep Time: 15 min. Cooking Time: 5 min.
