  • 2 Tbsp. Regular rolled oats, (heaping)
  • 1 Tbsp. Oat bran, (heaping)
  • 1 Tbsp. Wheat bran, (heaping)
  • 1 Tbsp. Wheat germ, (heaping)
  • 1 Tbsp. Raisins, (optional) (heaping)
  • 1/2 c. Cool water, (actually I do not measure but merely add in sufficient water so mix is barely swimming in water)

  1. My favorite oatmeal recipe for one serving.
  2. Place in microwaveable bowl and microwave on high for 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 min depending on the machine.
  3. Cereal comes out thick but not lumpy, add in soy lowfat milk to get consistency you desire, top with sliced fresh fruit - my favorite is banana.
