Receta Fillet Steak With Brandy Cream Sauce

Ingredientes
- 1 kg beef, fillet
- 4 slc bacon
- 60 gm butter
- 1 tsp mustard, whole grain
- 1 x onions, medium
- 1/2 c. beef stock
- 1/2 c. brandy
- 1/2 c. cream
- 1 tsp parsley, minced salt, pepper
Direcciones
- Cut fillet into equal portions.
- Press steaks into a neat round shape and wrap with a slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
- Heat 1/2 the butter in a pan and cook steaks to required degree of doneness. Remove from pan and keep hot.
- To make the sauce:Dice onions.
- Add in remaining butter and onions and gently cook for 1 minute, then add in brandy and flame. Reduce by half, add in beef stock, cream and mustard and reduce till a sauce consistency is obtained.
- Note:You can thicken this sauce slightly with cornflour if you like.
- Return steaks to pan for 1 minute to heat through, season, and finish with minced parsley.
- * Serve with Potato Casserole and fresh green salad.
