Receta Frank's Place New Orleans Gumbo

Ingredientes
- 1 c. Minced onions
- 1 c. Minced celery
- 1 c. Minced green bell pepper
- 2 x Cloves garlic,chopped
- 1/4 c. Butter or possibly margarine
- 1/4 c. Flour,all-purpose Salt to taste Pepper to taste
- 1 dsh Tabasco sauce
- 5 x Bay leaves
- 1 can Tomatoes,liquid removed(16oz)
- 1 c. Tomato juice
- 5 c. Warm water
- 3 c. Shrimp,shelled/deveined
- 6 sm hard-shell crabs
- 24 x Shucked oysters
- 1 lb Okra,minced
- 3 c. Warm cooked rice Minced fresh parsley
Direcciones
- 1. In large Dutch oven, gently saute/fry onion, celery and bell pepper in butter; add in garlic and continue to sauce 5 min.
- 2. Remove from heat and slowly stir in flour.
- 3. Add in salt, pepper, Tabasco, bay leaves, tomatoes and tomato juice; simmer for 15 min.
- 4. Add in the warm water, shrimp, crabs, oysters, and okra; cover and simmer 30 min.
- 5. Spoon a few Tbsp. cooked rice in each of six large soup bowls; ladle gumbo onto rice and garnish with parsley.
