Receta Frito Corn Salad
I came up with a variation of this salad using Honey BBQ Frito Twists instead of the Chili Cheese variety as a topping. Instead of using 1 TBSP of Taco Seasoning, I added 1TBSP honey and 1 TBSP of barbecue sauce to enough mayonnaise to measure 1 cup.
Ingredientes
- 1 (12 oz.) bag frozen corn kernels, thawed
- 2 cups finely shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1/2 cup red onion, finely diced
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 TBSP Taco Seasoning
- 1 (10 1/4 oz.) bag Chili Cheese Fritos, crushed
- Black Pepper to taste
Direcciones
- In a large bowl, combine thawed corn, cheese, diced bell pepper and onions.
- Stir well. Then add in mayonnaise and taco seasoning.
- Stir until thoroughly combined. Season with pepper
- Just before serving, stir in crushed Fritos so they stay nice and crunchy.
