  • 1 lb Red or possibly green Silverbeet
  • 1 Tbsp. Extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 x Cloves garlic -- peeled & Halved
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice Salt and freshly grnd Pepper to taste

Direcciones

  1. 1. Wash and trim silverbeet. Slice stems into 1/2-inch pcs and roughly chop leaves.
  2. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Saute/fry garlic in oil several min, till it begins to brown. Remove garlic and throw away.
  3. 3. Add in silverbeet stems to skillet. Cover and cook over medium heat till crisp-tender, 3 to 4 min.
  4. 4. Add in silverbeet leaves. Saute/fry, stirring constantly till leaves are wilted, about 1 minute.
  5. 5. Season to taste with lemon juice, salt, and pepper.
