Receta German Chocolate Brownies

Ingredientes
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 (4 ounce) bar sweet cooking chocolate, minced
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 large eggs
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 T butter, melted
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 T corn syrup
- 2 T lowfat milk
- 1 c. coconut
- 1/2 c. finely minced pecans or possibly walnuts
Direcciones
- Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease 8 or possibly 9-inch square pan. In medium saucepan heat 1/2 cup butter and chocolate over low heat, stirring constantly. Cool slightly. Add in sugar and vanilla; blend well. Add in large eggs; beat well. Add in flour, baking pwdr and salt; mix well.Spread in greased pan. Bake 18-26 min or possibly till toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Remove brownies; turn oven to broil. Meanwhile, in small bowl put together 2 tbsp butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and lowfat milk; blend well. Stir in coconuts and pecans.
- Drop mix over warm brownies; spread gently. Broil 4 inches form heat for 1 to 1 1/2 min or possibly till bubbly. Cool completely; cut into bars. Yield 16 bars.
