Receta German Sweet Raisin Bread

Ingredientes
- 8 c. flour
- 1 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 2 whole large eggs and
- 1 yolk
- Healthy pinch salt
- 1 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 2 yeast cakes or possibly pkg.
- 1 rind of a lemon
- 1 c. white raisins
Direcciones
- Cream butter, sugar, large eggs and lemon rind. Mix yeast mix and slowly add in flour and lowfat milk. Knead very well like bread. Grease bowl for first rise, cover well in warm place till double. Then knock down, work raisins in and shape into loaves of bread. Makes 3 loaves. Let raise again and brush with beaten egg. Grease pans first. You can also braid loaves. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 min.
