  1. Place rice in pans. Add salt and cooking oil. Pour hot water over rice; stir.
  2. Steam uncovered for 30 -45 minutes. Fluff with fork.
  3. Add parsley flakes and basil; mix thoroughly.
  4. Note: if using regular white rice in place of converted riced, cooing time may need to be reduced. For brown rice, increase cooking time to 40-45 minutes.
