Receta Homemade Ranch Dressing and Delicious Variations
This versatile dressing is great on salads, burgers, sandwiches, wraps, with chicken wings, and lots more. Follow the basic recipe, then add whatever you want.
Ingredientes
- Basic Recipe:
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream or crema
- 2 cloves garlic, smashed and chopped, or 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 scallions, white and some green parts, chopped
- 1 tbs. fresh chives, or 1 tsp. dried
- 1 tbs. vinegar
- dash Worcestershire
- pinch paprika
- pinch dried oregano
- milk or buttermilk to thin
- Traditional Ranch: add 1/4 tsp. dry dillweed, 1 tbs. fresh parsley, or 1/2 tbs. dried, and another pinch of oregano to basic recipe
- Buttermilk Ranch: cut mayonnaise by 1/3 cup, add 1/3 cup buttermilk
- Jalapeno Ranch: add 1 tbs. chopped jalapeno and 1 tbs. cilantro leaves to basic recipe
- Cesar Ranch: add garlic to taste, plus cilantro to basic recipe
- Blue Cheese Ranch: add 4 oz. blue cheese to Traditional recipe
- Parmesan Ranch: add 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan, 1/4 cup milk or buttermilk to Traditional recipe
- Chipotle Ranch: add 2-3 tbs. chipotle salsa to basic recipe

- Put basic recipe ingredients in a blender. Blend for 10-15 seconds, then put in additional ingredients. Blend another 5 seconds.
