Receta Honey Orange Duck

Ingredientes
- 2 lg. or possibly 4 sm. ducks
- 2 oranges, peeled and sliced thin
- 1 c. honey
- 1/2 c. lemon juice
- 1 tbsp. brandy (opt.)
- 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Salt and pepper
- 1 stick butter
- 1/4 c. brown sugar
- 2 teaspoon orange peel, grated
- 1 tbsp. prepared mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
Direcciones
- Wipe ducks inside and out; sprinkle cavity with salt and pepper. Divide sliced oranges and fill each cavity. Place breast down in roaster. Coat liberally with butter. Mix remaining ingredients and pour over ducks. Cover and roast at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Turn ducks, breast side up, and baste with honey mix. Cover and roast 30 min more. Remove cover. Baste again and roast 30 min more. Serve with pan juices poured over.
