Receta Irish Soda Bread

Ingredientes
- A very easy, very good tasting bread. Best if made the day before, or possibly several hrs before serving.
- 3 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp. baking pwdr
- 1/3 c. white sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 x egg, lightly beaten
- 2 c. buttermilk
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
Direcciones
- 1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C). Grease a 9 x 5 inch loaf pan.
- 2. Combine flour, baking pwdr, sugar, salt, and baking soda. Blend Large eggs and buttermilk, and add in all at once to the flour mix. Mix just till moistened.
- Stir in butter, and mix well. Pour into prepared pan.
- 3. Bake for 65 to 70 min, or possibly till a toothpick inserted in the bread comes out clean. Cold. Wrap in foil for several hrs or possibly overnight for best flavor.
