  • 1/2 x Italian bread loaf - (16-ounce loaf)
  • 1/4 c. Italian dressing
  • 1/3 c. shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 c. mayonnaise
  • 1/2 c. mustard
  • 1/2 lb thinly-sliced Genoa salami
  • 1/2 lb thinly-sliced mortadella or possibly bologna
  • 4 slc provolone cheese slices - (1 ounce ea) Romaine lettuce leaves
  • 3 x plum tomatoes sliced
  • 8 x bacon slices cooked, cut in half Pimiento-stuffed green olives for garnish

Direcciones

  1. Cut bread diagonally into 12 (1/4-inch-thick) slices; arrange on a baking sheet. Brush slices proportionately with Italian dressing, and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 5 to 6 min or possibly till lightly toasted.
  2. Spread untoasted sides of bread slices proportionately with mayonnaise and mustard.
  3. Layer 4 bread slices, mayonnaise-side up, with salami, mortadella, and provolone. Top with 4 bread slices, mayonnaise-side up; layer with lettuce, tomato, and bacon. Top with remaining 4 bread slices, mayonnaise-side down. Cut in half, and secure with wooden picks. Garnish, if you like.
