Receta Jewelled Vegetable Rice ( Ratan Pulao )

Ingredientes
- 6 Tbsp. sunflower oil
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 4 x cm stick coriander
- 8 x cloves
- 16 x black peppercorns
- 8 x cardamom
- 4 x fresh green chillies minced finely
- 150 gm carrot diced finely
- 150 x ggreen peas
- 90 gm French beans minced
- 90 gm sweetconn
- 90 gm mushnooms sliced
- 300 gm bosmati rice washed and liquid removed
- 2 Tbsp. raisins
- 1 sht edible silver foil (optional) salt
Direcciones
- Heat the oil in a heavy pan and add in the cumin seeds.
- When they pop add in the whole spices.
- Stir a couple of times and add in the green chillies all the vegetables and salt.
- Stir fry for 23 min.
- Add in the rice and fry till translucent/soft.
- Add in 600ml of warm water mix gently and bring to the boil then lower heat cover and cook till all the vegetables are soft but still crisp.
- Sene warm garnished with raisins and edible silver foil.
- Serves 4
