Receta Lemon Sherbet

Ingredientes
- 1 c. Sugar, divided
- 1 dsh Salt
- 1 c. Water
- 1/2 c. Light cream
- 1/2 c. Lemon juice
- 2 x Egg whites

- Combine 3/4 c. sugar, salt, and water. Bring to boil; simmer 5 min.
- Cold. Add in cream, then lemon juice. Pour into refrigerator tray; freeze till hard.
- Beat 2 egg whites to soft peaks; gradually add in 1/4 c. sugar beating to stiff peaks. Break frzn mix into chunks with wooden spoon; turn into chilled bowl. Beat with electric or possibly rotary beater until smooth. Mix in egg whites. Return quickly to cool tray. Freeze hard.
