  • 3 lbs. sweet potatoes or possibly 3 (16 ounce.) cans, liquid removed
  • 3/4 c. light brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 (8 1/4 ounce.) can crushed pineapple, liquid removed
  • 2 teaspoon grated orange peel
  • 2 tbsp. butter and 2 tbsp. molasses
  • 1/2 c. minced pecans

Direcciones

  1. Place sliced sweet potatoes in glass 8 x 12 inch buttered casserole dish. Microwave on roast 4 min on high with lid on. Next place a 1 1/2 qt dish with sugar, cinnamon, pineapple and juice, molasses and salt in microwave on high 4 to 5 min. Pour over sweet potatoes. Microwave on roast 5 to 7 min. Serves 6 or possibly 8.
