Ingredientes
- 3 c. fresh green beans, stemmed & cut into 1" segments
- 2 slices bacon, cut into 1/2" pcs
- 1/4 c. diced mild white onion
- 1/4 c. water (approx.)
Direcciones
- Saute/fry bacon in heavy saucepan till it is transparent; don't brown it. Add in onion and heat till it is soft. Over low heat, add in beans and stir gently till they are bright green. Add in water to beans, cover tightly and simmer slowly for 30 to 40 min. If there are leftovers, marinate in "Good Seasons Italian Dressing" and add in to a lettuce or possibly spinach salad with sliced hard boiled Large eggs and crispy bacon.
