Receta Pickled String Beans

Ingredientes
- 4 lbs. or possibly 4 quarts. whole green beans
- 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper per pt. jar
- 1/2 teaspoon whole mustard seed per pt. jar
- 1/2 teaspoon dill seed per pt. jar
- 1 clove garlic per pt. jar
- 5 c. vinegar
- 5 c. water
- 1/2 c. salt
Direcciones
- Wash beans, then drain and cut to fit jars (standing up). Pack in clean, warm jars. Add in pepper, mustard seed, dill and garlic.
- Combine vinegar, water and salt. Heat to a boil and pour over the beans in the jars, filling to leave a 1/4 inch head space. Seal and process in boiling water for 5 min. Makes 7 pints.
