Receta Sausage And Pepper Pasta Supper

Ingredientes
- 3 Tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 3 x garlic cloves chopped
- 1Â 1/2 lb warm or possibly sweet Italian sausage cut into 1-inch pcs
- 1 lrg green or possibly yellow bell pepper cut into strips
- 1 lrg red bell pepper cut into strips
- 1 lrg onion sliced
- 1 x 14 1/2 oz tomatoes diced, juices reserved
- 1 Tbsp. dry basil crumbled
- 1 tsp dry oregano crumbled
- Â Â Salt and pepper
- 1 lb penne pasta freshly cooked
- Â Â Grated Parmesan

- Heat oil in heavy large skillet over medium heat. Add in garlic and saute/fry till golden brown, about 1 minute. Fold in sausage and cook till brown, about 8 min. Add in peppers and onion and cook till almost tender, stirring occasionally, about 5 min. Fold in tomatoes with juices, basil and oregano. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and simmer 8 min.
- Uncover and cook 2 min. Pour over pasta and toss. Serve, passing Parmesan separately.
- Serves 4 to 6.
