Receta Scottish Black Treacle Pudding

Ingredientes
- 110 gm butter or possibly margarine
- 110 gm caster sugar
- 2 x Large eggs size 3 lightly beaten
- 3 x tablesDoons black treacle
- Â Â The grated rind and juice of half a lemon
- 60 gm pine kernels
- 110 gm selfraising flour
- 1 x 1.151 pudding basin greased or possibly 6 dariole moulds
Direcciones
- Cream the butter and sugar till light and fluffy. Gradually beat in the Large eggs.
- Hot the treacle with the lemon rind and juice.
- Stir in the pine kernels.
- Gently stir this mix into the creamed mix then carefully mix in the sifted flour.
- Spoon into the basin or possibly dariole moulds.
- Cover tightly with greased greaseproof paper and foil then steam for 11X2 hrs for the large pudding or possibly about 45 min for the individual moulds.
- Check the pan frequently to ensure which it doesnt boil dry.
- Serve the pudding warm with golden brown syrup and cream.
- Serves 4
