Receta Spaghetti Salad With Tuna

Ingredientes
- 1/3 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 c. extra-large black olives,
- Â Â pitted and quartered
- 1/3 c. fresh parsley, minced
- 1/3 c. fresh basil, minced
- 1/3 c. fresh chives, minced
- 2 Tbsp. liquid removed capers
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
- 1 x red or possibly yellow bell pepper,
- Â Â roasted, peeled and diced
- 2 clv garlic, chopped
- 2 can tuna, liquid removed and flaked*
- 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp freshly grnd
- Â Â pepper
- 3/4 lb spaghetti, fusilli
- Â Â or possibly penne
- Â Â Tuna packed in extra virgin olive oil has extra flavor,
- Â Â but tuna packed in water
- Â Â conscious!
Direcciones
- In a large serving bowl, combine oil, olives, parsley, basil, chives, capers, red pepper flakes, bell pepper, garlic and tuna. Sprinkle with vinegar, lemon juice, salt and pepper. Marinate at room temperature for up to 30 min.
- Just before serving, cook spaghetti in a large pot of boiling, salted water till barley tender. Drain well.
- Toss with salad ingredients. Serve immediately hot or possibly at room temperature.
- Serves 4
