Receta Spinach Bites with Lemon Mayonnaise
This is a family hit. My sister-in-law introduced us to it. It's quick and easy.
Ingredientes
- 1 package (10 oz.) Frozen Chopped Spinach, thawed and well-drained
- 1 cup herb-seasoned stuffing mix
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon Instant minced onion
- Dash ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup Real Mayonnaise
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Dash Hot Pepper Sauce (Tobasco)
- 1 Tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon Dijon Mustard
- 1/4 cup Dairy Sour Cream
Direcciones
- Lightly grease baking sheets.
- In a small bowl, mix spinach, stuffing mix, eggs, butter, onion and nutmeg until well blended.
- Shape into balls using 1 teaspoon of the mixture for each ball; place on baking sheets.
- Cover and place in refrigerator at least 4 hours or freeze until ready to bake.
- To Bake: Preheat oven to 350 F. Bake spinach bites for 10-15 mins. or until bottoms start to brown.
- FOR THE LEMON MAYONNAISE DIP:
- In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, lemon juice, sugar, mustard, and hot pepper. Stir in sour cream and serve.
- TO SERVE: Spear with toothpicks and dip into the Lemon Mayonnaise Dip.
