Receta Squash And Bacon Casserole

Ingredientes
- 4 x strips bacon
- 5 med squash or possibly 32 ounces frzn sliced
- 1 med onion minced
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 2 x Large eggs beaten
- Â Â salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 c. grated cheese
Direcciones
- Slice squash about 1/4-inch thick; boil till tender. Fry bacon till crisp; drain on paper towels; crumble and set aside. In bacon grease, brown onions. Add in margarine, squash, Large eggs, salt and pepper. Cook, stirring, till Large eggs are cooked. In a 2-qt casserole dish, place half of the squash mix. Sprinkle with half of the bacon and half of the cheese. Top with remaining squash mix, bacon, and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees till warm and cheese is melted.
- Serves 4 to 6.
