Receta Steamed Vanilla Custard With Bananas

Ingredientes
- 2 lrg Large eggs
- 1 c. whole lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 x bananas, sliced
- Â Â Sprinkle of grnd cinnamon
Direcciones
- Fill a large pot with 2 inches of water. Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk Large eggs with lowfat milk. Whisk in sugar and vanilla extract.
- Proportionately divide bananas among six (8-oz) oven-proof bowls or possibly ramekins. Pour custard proportionately over bananas. Sprinkle lightly with cinnamon. Cover each bowl with foil. Place in a steamer basket.
- Remove pot of boiling water from heat and carefully place steamer basket in water. Return pot to heat and return to a boil. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 25 min, or possibly till a knife inserted into the center comes out clean.
