Receta Strawberries In Grand Marnier Sauce

Ingredientes
- 3 pt strawberries (3 to 4 pints) rinsed & hulled
- 2 Tbsp. Sugar
- 3 x egg yolks
- 1/3 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. Grand Marnier
- 1 c. heavy cream
Direcciones
- Toss strawberries with sugar and chill.
- In the top of a double boiler over barely simmering water, whisk egg yolks and sugar till thick and pale, about 5-6 min. Place pan in a shallow bowl of ice water. When cold, place a piece of plastic wrap directly on surface and chill. An hour before serving, whisk Grand Marnier into sauce. Whip cream till it holds soft peaks. Fold into sauce; chill. Serve in dessert dishes and pass the sauce.
- Makes at least 2 c. of sauce.
