Receta Texas Meatballs And Rice

Ingredientes
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1 egg
- 1 1/2 teaspoon chili pwdr
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 1 (16 ounce.) can stewed tomatoes
- 1 lg. onion, thinly sliced and separated into rings
- 1 lg. green pepper, minced
- 3/4 c. uncooked instant rice
Direcciones
- 1. Mix grnd beef, egg, chili pwdr, salt and pepper. Shape into 1 1/2 to 2 inch balls. Place in 2 qt casserole. Microwave at high (100%) till meatballs are set and lose pink color, 4 to 7 min, rearranging meatballs after half the cooking time. Drain.
- 2. Stir in remaining ingredients; cover. Microwave at high (100%) till mix is bubbly and onions are tender, 4 to 7 min. If using oven other than Sharp carousel, stir after half the cooking time. Let stand till rice is tender, 2 to 3 min.
