Receta Norwegian Dumplings

Ingredientes
- 4 Tbsp. Butter
- 1/2 c. Water
- 2 ounce Flour
- 2 x Large eggs separated
- Â Â Salt to taste
- 1 pch Grnd cardamom (optional)
Direcciones
- Bring butter and water quickly to a boil and add in flour. Stir over moderate heat till dough comes away from the sides of the pan. Remove from heat and let dough get cool. Beat in egg yolks, one at a time, with a dash of salt and a healthy pinch of grnd cardamom (optional). Beat egg whites stiff and frothy and mix in. Shape into marble-sized balls and place in boiling water to cover well. Cover pot and simmer gently for 10 min till dumplings rise.
- This recipe yields sufficient dumplings for 6 or possibly 7 servings.
