Receta Tommy's Tampa Caesar Salad

Ingredientes
- 2 x Garlic cloves crushed or possibly chopped
- 1/2 c. Olive olive
- 1Â 1/2 x To 2 c. cubed French bread
- Â Â Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 can Anchovies
- 1/4 tsp Dry mustard
- Â Â Freshly grnd black pepper
- 4 dsh Worcestershire sauce
- 3 Tbsp. Wine vinegar
- 1 lrg Lemon, juice of
- 2 x Heads Romaine lettuce
- 1/3 c. Parmesan cheese freshly grated
Direcciones
- Combine garlic cloves with extra virgin olive oil; let blend for 6 to 8 hrs. Heat 2 tb. of this garlic oil in a large skillet. Add in French bread. Saute/fry till lightly browned; add in salt and pepper. Reserve.
- Finely chop the anchovies and mash them up very well into a paste with their own oil. Combine this with the rest of the garlic oil. Add in dry mustard and a few generous grindings of pepper to taste. Add in Worcestershire, wine vinegar and lemon juice.
- Tear up the Romaine leaves into serving size pcs. Pour the dressing over the leaves. Top with croutons and sprinkle with Parmesan. Serve immediately.
