Receta Tropical Fruit Flame
Ingredientes
- Butter 1/4 c
- Cognac 1/4 c
- Golden rum 1/2 c
- Granulated sugar 1/2 c
- or banana(or combination)
- papaya, pineapple, orange
- Thickly sliced peeled mango, 4 c
- Pinch allspice
- Mango sorbet or ice cream
Direcciones
- In large skillet, melt butter over medium heat; stir in sugar. Add sliced fruit to skillet and cook, stirring gently and often, for about 5 minutes or until fruit is tender but still firm. Stir in rum and allspice. Keep warm over low heat or transfer to chafing dish. Just before serving, heat cognac in small saucepan just until starting to steam. Using long match, ignite carefully and pour over fruit while still flaming. Serve over mango sorbet or ice cream.
