Receta White Soda Bread

Ingredientes
- 7 c. unbleached flour
- 1 c. quick rolled oats
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tbsp. melted butter
- 1 quart. buttermilk
Direcciones
- For brown bread, substitute whole wheat flour.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Place all dry ingredients in large mixing bowl. Make a well in center of dry ingredients. Add in buttermilk and melted butter, mixing from center out. Blend all ingredients (don't beat). Turn on lightly floured board and knead 10 times into round loaf. Place on greased pan and X in center with sharp knife. Bake 10 min at 425 degrees. Reduce to 375 degrees; bake additional 45 min or possibly till toothpick comes out clean.
