Receta Cayenne Pumpkin Pie

Ingredientes
- 2 c. pumpkin puree
- 1 x egg beaten
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 c. half-and-half
- 1 1/2 tsp grnd cinnamon
- 3/4 tsp grnd ginger
- 1/2 tsp grated nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp grnd cloves
- 2 tsp Cayenne pepper
- 1/4 c. honey
- 2 Tbsp. pecans grnd to a fine flour
- 1/2 tsp salt whipped cream
- 9 x inch pie shell unbaked
Direcciones
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Combine all the ingredients, except the piecrust, in a mixing bowl, beat them together till smooth. Pour mix intothe pie shell and bake for 15 min. Reduce oven to 350 degrees F and bake for another 35 min or possibly till set. Cold and serve topped with whippedcream.
- Notes: This is deceptively warm, so make it once with these amounts and adjust from there. Make sure which you have the whipped cream to cold the heat if it is too warm.
- NOTES : Makes one 9" pie.
