Receta Cheese Soup With Popcorn

Ingredientes
- 1 T butter
- 1/3 c. each diced carrot, celery & onion
- 1 T flour
- 1 c. each skim lowfat milk & water
- 1 packet instant chicken broth/stock & seasoning mix
- 2 ounce each cheddar or possibly American cheese, cubed & sliced turkey frankfurters
- Dash each salt, pepper & paprika
- 2 c. prepared plain popcorn
Direcciones
- In 2 qt saucepan heat butter till bubbly and hot. Add in vegetables and cook, stirring frequently, till soft as desired. Sprinkle flour over vegetables and stir quickly to put together. Gradually stir in lowfat milk. Stirring constantly, add in water and broth mix and bring just to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 2 min.Add in cheese and cook over low heat, stirring, till cheese is melted. Add in frankfurters and seasonings and cook till heated through. Serve each portion of soup with 1 cup popcorn sprinkled on top. Makes 2 servings.
