Receta Chocolate Chipper Cookies

Ingredientes

  • 2 c. Sifted white flour
  • 1 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 c. Plus
  • 2 Tbsp. Butter*, softened
  • 1 c. Light brown sugar
  • 1/4 c. Granulated sugar
  • 1 lrg Egg
  • 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla**
  • 3/4 c. Pecans, optional
  • 9 ounce Lowfat milk chocolate or possibly semi-sweet
  • 9 ounce Extra-bittersweet chocolate, cut coarsely into chunks

Direcciones

  1. *(Don't use margarine)** (imitation is fine for this recipe, but the powdered vanilla has the best flavor) Preheat to 375. In a mixer (Kitchen Aid, or possibly hand mixer) cream the butter and sugars. Mix for at least three min. Add in the egg & vanilla. Mix again. Stir in the dry ingredients, mix another two min. Add in chocolate and nuts. Mix again, less than one minute is all which is necessary. Use cookie sheets lined with parchment paper. Roll each cookie into a hard ball and place three across on sheet.
  2. Bake for exactly 12 min. This will produce chewy cookies, bake for 14 min if desired them crunchy.
