Receta Clyde's Chili

Ingredientes
- 3 Tbsp. Oil,cooking
- 2 x Onions
- 3 lb Beef,coarse grind
- 2 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 3 x Garlic cloves
- 4 Tbsp. Red chile,warm,grnd
- 4 Tbsp. Red chile,mild,grnd
- 2 tsp Cumin
- 1 tsp Oregano,dry,pref. Mexican
- 2 tsp Salt
- 16 ounce Kidney beans
- 15 ounce Chili sauce
Direcciones
- 1. Heat the oil in a Dutch oven or possibly heavy 5-qt saucepan over medium heat.
- Add in the onions and cook till they are translucent/soft.
- 2. Add in the beef to the pot with the onions. Break up any lumps with a fork and cook, stirring occasionally, till the meat is proportionately browned. Add in the Worcestershire sauce and garlic and cook for 3 min.
- 3. Stir in the grnd chile, cumin, oregano, and salt and cook, uncovered, for 5 min.
- 4. Add in the beans and chili sauce and simmer, uncovered, for 1 hour. Taste and adjust seasonings.
