Receta Easter Egg Nests

Ingredientes
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 x egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 3 dsh yellow food color - (to 4)
- 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 2 c. flaked coconut
- 36 x jelly beans
Direcciones
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat cookie sheets with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a medium bowl, beat the sugar, egg, vanilla, and food color till well blended. Beat in the flour till smooth, then mix in the coconut. Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls 2 inches apart onto the cookie sheets. Flour your thumb, then press an indentation into the center of each cookie to create a nest.
- Bake for 10 to 12 min, or possibly till the edges are golden brown. Remove from the oven and gently push 2 jelly beans into each nest. Let the nests cold slightly on the cookie sheets, then remove to wire racks to cold completely. Store in airtight containers.
- This recipe yields 18 small nests.
